My research mainly focuses on the existence and stability of traveling wave solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations (PDE) arising from fluid dynamics. In particular, stability of roll waves and hydraulic shock profiles in an inclined channel, stability of free surface water waves (Stokes wave, gravity-capillary waves, and Wilton ripples), etc.
